All Daley Center (50 W. Washington, Chicago, IL) cases are by zoom until further notice. Even though your case will be heard by zoom, you must treat it as seriously as if it were an in-person court date. Scroll down for all the login codes and passwords.
This means you are still required to be at every court date, cannot be late to court, and if you miss court a warrant may be entered for your arrest.
Things to know:
- If you are appearing on your phone, you should download the zoom app.
- When you log in, you must make sure your name appears as your full name so the judge knows that you are there. Many devices will say “iphone11” as the name, and this may result in a warrant being entered because the zoom rooms can be crowded and even we might not be able to tell you are there.
- Please be sitting in a private, quiet location. You should be dressed professionally and be on mute. You will not have to speak unless we tell you ahead of time you’ll have to.
- Once your case has been called, you can leave the zoom room. We will follow up with an email or phone call once we are finished with our court cases for the day.
