How To Read A Bond Slip

When you bond out of jail, you are given a bond slip. It is an 8.5 x 11 thin piece of paper. It tells you how much your bond was, what was posted, when your next court date is and where it is. It also says who the arresting officer and agency was, and when your bond was posted. Here are some tips and explanations on how to read the bond slip and what each section means.
